We stayed at Casa Soledad in early February 2015. It was heavenly. We have 2 small children, ages 11 and 7 and they absolutely fell in love with the place. The pool was the perfect size for them and being so close to the beach they took advantage of that also. We went to one of the palapa restaurants on the beach below and spent most of the day there just eating and playing in the ocean. The owner of the restaurant was really nice and asked us several times how we were doing and if we needed anything. The seafood is fresh out of the sea, a few hours old and WONDERFUL. Platanitos is a friendly little beach town and a nice change from the large touristy Puerto Vallarta area. Casa Soledad is very comfortable and makes you feel like you are in paradise. It has many special touches that make it feel like home. The décor is OUTSTANDING and it is a beautiful place to stay. There is an outdoor eating area that overlooks the pool and really makes for a nice area where multiple activities can go on at the same time but the family can all be together still. The kids can be playing in the pool while my wife and I enjoy a margarita or cerveza overlooking the ocean, yet still keeping a close eye on the kids. My wife and I would watch the sunset every night and that was a perfect romantic ending to a perfect day.
The staff at Casa Soledad are very friendly and attentive. Everyday upon returning from our travels everything was clean and put away and ready to be used again. We didn’t have to give anything a second thought, just be there in the warm Mexican air and enjoy our vacation together. Everything was taken care of and all our needs were met without even asking. I highly recommend Casa Soledad to anyone thinking of visiting Mexico if you want a great vacation and a view that can’t be beat. We hope to return VERY soon.

We truly had a lovely and peaceful time at Casa Soledad. It is truly a little piece of paradise! Many thanks for the terrific accommodations! We've decided that we have become Pacific people now, after many years along the Caribbean side of Mexico. We wish we had such a retreat in our golden years to which to go. Family Vacation
We are having a fabulous vacation! The house is so beautiful and comfortable and the beaches are magnificent. Alicia, Berna, and Mingo are taking excellent care of us. Your neighbors not only made sure we are comfortable but entertained us with tequilla tasting and took us to the village Christmas celebration. This is the family vacation we all we looking for.

This was a return trip to Casa Soledad, and I never tire of the view. The space is so comfortable and beautiful. The location and view can simply not be topped! The beach down the hill in Platanitos is great for swimming and playing and the beach restaurants are fantastic for beer and a snack, but I definitely recommend the meal plan! Having a delicious comida ready for us after a morning of activities made the vacation so relaxing. The outdoor living space is comfortable and relaxing, and there was plenty of space for my husband and I as well as the kids. The kids could not stay out of the pool! They love this vacation spot most of all! We all cannot wait to return and are already planning our next trip! Great town, great home!

Our family experienced a wonderful stay at Casa Soledad. We knew that Platanitos Beach is one of the preferred beaches by locals, so we decided enjoy all the best that Mexico has to offer. The ocean view at Casa Soledad is breathtakingly beautiful. There are magnificent local sights within walking distance including a clean, safe beach, and wonderful restaurant choices. The Casa Soledad location was perfect for our young family members and we had several bedroom options to suit everyone’s needs. Casa Soledad not only provides a private infinity pool and free parking, but is strategically located within close walk distance to restaurants, local stores, and the beach.
