As its name suggests Casa Soledad is situated alone at the north edge of Platanitos village, high on a tropical cliff with the Pacific Ocean as your back yard. Just a three minute walk to the beach, with its twelve local palapa roof restaurants, take the path to the mangrove - lined estuary, then a quick swim over to the eight mile stretch of beach known as Playa las Tortugas.

Enjoy a dip in the unique, turtle mosaic, private infinity pool which seems to be perched on the very edge of the sparkling Pacific. Wake up to the calls of the wild birds, the crashing of the surf, and dolphins playing in the waves below. You don't even need to get out of bed; just sit up and watch through the open doors.

For the more adventurous there are several great day trips to enjoy: a drive-in volcano, Petraglyph Canyon, fabulous waterfalls, turtle & crocodile rides in the mangrove estuaries, exotic bird watching on Cloud Mountain or the bustling fishing village of San Blas.

*Casa Soledad is a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bathroom villa offering a variety of sleeping arrangements for singles or couples. We also have 2 roll-away beds to accomodate families with smaller children.

*In the event of yoga retreats etc., special arrangements can be made to accomodate up to eight people in conjunction with Casa Largarto.
